Training Course

Sfântu Gheorghe · Duben 2026

From Hate to Understanding

The project From Hate to Understanding took place in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania, and brought together 40 youth workers from 10 European countries. The Erasmus+ training course focused on understanding hate speech, prejudice, discrimination and the mechanisms that lead to the spread of hate. Through Council of Europe methods, participants explored media literacy, emotions, needs-based communication, stereotypes, privilege, fake news and social media. Using group activities, discussions, role-plays and reflection, they gained practical tools for working with young people and preventing conflict in their local communities.

After the Show Where Do the Actors Go?

The project After the show, where do the actors go? took us to Sărata-Monteoru and Buzău in Romania, where we explored the long-term impact of Erasmus+ mobilities together with participants from 14 countries. The main idea was to see mobility not as a one-time experience, but as the beginning of a longer learning process. Through non-formal education, teamwork, reflection, cultural evenings and international group activities, we learned how to turn the knowledge, motivation and connections gained during the project into real actions and positive change in our local communities.

Czech Horizons was founded in July 2025 in Prague. We connect three things that matter: health, environment and crisis preparedness.

We organise youth exchanges and training courses across Europe through Erasmus+, local clean-up events in Prague, and help young people find their path through European programmes like DiscoverEU or ESC.
